Did you know that Horicon School District has its very own PTO?!

The Horicon Parent Teacher Organization is a group of super fun parents whose main focus is to give back and help grow and strengthen not only our students, but staff and families too! We are always striving to plan fun and engaging family and community-based activities within our district that are both affordable and memorable. The main purpose of all of these events is to bring our families, staff and community together, and to encourage and maintain the relationships being built throughout the year so that our district can continue to grow and succeed!

So, how can you be a part of all the fun?! We would LOVE to share!

First and foremost, we are ALWAYS looking for fresh faces and new ideas! By attending our monthly meetings, you not only get in on all the tasty snacks 😉 but you also get to have a front row seat to how we give back, plan events, and brainstorm!

You can...

• Sign up to volunteer! We always appreciate volunteers to help out at our various events throughout the school year! We post on Facebook: links to sign up when we are looking for help.
• Donate! You can drop a donation in the mail or at Horicon School District at any time in an envelope labeled ATTN: Horicon PTO (Checks can be made out to Horicon PTO)
• Purchase SCRIP from us!

**It is important to note that without our donations, fundraising, and countless volunteers, our PTO would not be able to provide as much as we do!

Meetings

The Horicon PTO meets once a month, on the third Thursday of the month from 6-7:30 p.m. in the District Office Board Room.  All parents who have a student at Horicon Elementary School or at Horicon Middle/High School are automatic members of this organization. Below you’ll find the meeting dates for this 2024-25 school year.

If there is any change in meeting date or time, it will be posted on the Horicon PTO Facebook page.  There is also a link posted to join virtually if you are not able to attend in person.

If you have not used or heard of SCRIP before, we are about to BLOW.YOUR.MIND!

SCRIP is a fundraising program where individuals, such as yourselves 😉 can purchase gift cards from the PTO and in turn, our organization makes a percentage of dollars! This is perfect for things like those last-minute birthday gift card purchases! Date night dinner?! We have Texas Road House gift cards that will do just the trick! Your child turned 16?! Kwik Trip gift cards to the rescue to fill those gas tanks!

This is a super easy, hassle- free way to support the PTO without having to do anything “extra!”

You can see all the different cards we are able to get. If you download the app, you can make purchases right from the app, in store to an E-gift card. It takes 30 seconds for your downloaded card to be available to use!
