Welcome to the 2023-24 school year and thank you for visiting our website at Horicon Schools. It is an honor and privilege to serve the students and families of Horicon. I am proud to be a part of a very dedicated, caring, and passionate staff who daily create opportunities for our students, both in the classroom and out. Helping students find and share their gifts is a focus that we strive for at Horicon. We believe in reaching and teaching the whole child so that they grow and find their passion for learning.
The School District of Horicon is driven by a deep desire to continually improve. Together, we will continue to build upon the rich tradition of our School District and express the deep values that define us as Marshmen Pride. Our staff at Horicon care for the students that enter our buildings and that is truly where the difference happens. Everyone has a place at Horicon and we strive to follow our mission every day.
Educate. Engage. Empower. Every Day.
We continue to reach out for ways to better connect to our families and community. We are open to have community walking hours, community functions in our new commons area, and the weight room/workout room will continue to be available for community use. Please consider joining us for our quarterly community coffees and programs at our school to better connect with our families. Information is on the district calendar regarding these events or you can always contact the district office.
If you are new to the district or thinking about moving to our community, please call and request a meeting and tour to see what we are about. One of our administrative team or I would be glad to meet with you and show you around our schools.
I continue to be honored and humbled to be the Superintendent of the Horicon School District. I pledge to you that our district will continue to work with our families, students, and community to make the best decisions in support of teaching and reaching our children.
As always, if I can ever be of assistance, please contact me at rappel@horicon.k12.wi.us or 920-485-2898 option 5. #HoriconStrong - STRONGER TOGETHER
It's great to be a Marshmen!

Professional Vision
"Successful is the person who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of children, who leaves the world better than they found it, who has never lacked appreciation for the earth's beauty, who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves."
