My Teaching Philosophy: Students need the arts to help them become "whole brain" learners and to help them become well-rounded problem solvers with a sensitivity to those unlike them.
My Family Background: My husband, Pete and two children
What I enjoy most about teaching: I like helping students discover more about themselves and their capabilities
Expectations from Student:

Problem-solve art projects and complete to the best of their ability
Have and open mind for differences and self improvement
Complete projects in class and home on time with effort
Tips for Parents:
Have a "work area" at home for your child where they can create (and make a mess) Have a junk box for them to dig into. Make homemade playdough and keep in fridge. Do art with your child. Allow your children to do art, especially when they are angry, frustrated, and bored.
