I have served as high school principal since the fall of 2000 and I am so excited to return to our newly renovated building this fall. Students will find the building bright, clean, and modern. The new cafeteria and open commons are furnished with modern fixtures and provide students a place to study and socialize.
While the look of the building has changed, the staff at Horicon High School remains committed to helping each student find success. We hold firm the District's Mission:
Educate. Engage. Empower. Every Day.
As a faculty, we believe it is our call to educate our students, providing them the knowledge they need to succeed in the twenty-first century. We engage them in their learning, guiding them as they set their own goals and examine their choices. With the knowledge and engagement in hand, students are empowered to set their career path and spread their wings beyond Horicon High School.
Students at Horicon High School will find that they can explore their interests through a wide variety of course offerings, as well as through numerous clubs and activities. Horicon High School offers numerous electives in arts, business, language, science, social studies, technology, and trades. Students looking for a chance to grow their leadership skills and to be a part of something larger than themselves will find plenty of opportunities to do so through our organizations and teams.
We are confident that our dedication to our mission will help all of our students experience success, and will prepare them for whatever they choose to do with their lives after graduation.
