Interactive Whiteboard Lessons

Looking for high-quality content for your interactive whiteboards? These reading and math lessons and activities are ideal. Try them for whole class instruction to support your lesson plans and let us know what you think.

Curriculumbits

Curriculumbits.com offer free online access to a growing range of interactive multimedia e-learning teaching resources. The online teaching resource library contains educational games, quizzes, animations and videos in a variety of subjects.

Interactive Whiteboard Resources For Teachers

Welcome to TeacherLed.com. This site aims to provide teaching and learning resources to make the use of the interactive whiteboard in the classroom easier and more productive. Interactive whiteboard resources are categorised on the left.  The resources on this site are accessible only through this site. No resource may be downloaded or disassembled.

Pattern Maker

Pattern Maker allows you to explore your spatial sense as you flip, turn, slide, scale, and tesselate common shapes to create patterns.  Looking for a way to help your students build their spatial sense?  Pattern Maker – a special combination of art and geometry -- might be just the right tool for you. Students can flip, slide, turn, scale, and tessellate colorful objects, creating patterns of their own imagination or copying pre-selected patterns.  Finishing a pattern triggers a brief question for the student to answer, based on the geometric techniques used and linked to key terms in a Shape Dictionary.

Create your own Museum

With Create Your Own Museum, you can select objects related to any topic or idea, select images that are good examples of the topic, and add text that explains why this item is especially important to your collection.  If your students were designing their own museum about history, art, or any other topic, what might they choose to put on display?  Give them a chance to find out with Create Your Own Museum. Great for summarizing units of study, this tool allows students to select a gallery, pick images from Thinkport’s extensive content bank, and explain their selections.

Annotate It!

The Annotator can help you look closely at any piece of text created by authors in your classroom or around the world. You can use virtual markers to highlight important passages, questions, thoughts, or other ideas, and add comments that explain what the lines mean to you.  Using this powerful interactive tool, teachers can enter any text they would like students to examine—from basic content materials to student writing. If they wish, they can also highlight any part of the text and add special footnotes. Students can then select electronic highlighters to annotate the text with their questions, wonderings, impressions, and other thoughts—adding explanatory footnotes of their own

My Timeline

This builder will help you construct a timeline, adding events, descriptions, and images that help bring content alive. This dynamic timeline generator allows teachers or students to select beginning and end points for their timeline and add dates and events—along with special images.
