Scholarship/Financial Aid Resources

Local Scholarships: 
2016-17 Local Scholarships: Tentative list, subject to change.  Complete one general local scholarship application form for most scholarships listed.  Local scholarship application is due in the student services office at 3:15 pm on March 15.  No late applications will be accepted.  Please note that some scholarships have an additional form and unique deadline. 
Horicon American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship:  $500.  Must be a son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter of  a veteran.
Horicon FCCLA Scholarship:  $300.  Application due April 1.
Horicon Lions Club Scholarships:  Two scholarships available.  $1000 for a student attending a four year college and $500 for a student attending a two year college.  Must have performed community service work for the Horicon Lions Club.  Service opportunities are listed here.  Application due April 15.
Horicon Phoenix Scholarships:  Two $500 scholarships available.  One for a student attending a four year college, the other for a student attending a two year college.  Primary criteria is community service.  Application due April 1.  
Kane-Pufahl Scholarship:  $1207.  Preference given to a student pursuing a career in education or health care.  Application due March 15.
Lee Hardesty Memorial Scholarship:  $500 to one HHS senior planning to pursue a career in agriculture.  Application due to Mrs. DeZeeuw by March 15.  Must also submit HHS local scholarship application.
Moraine Park High School Senior Award:  $400 to one HHS senior attending Moraine Park.  Must have 2.75 high school GPA.  Application due April 15.
Tom Murphy Memorial Scholarship and HHS Athletic Booster Club Scholarships:  Apply using local scholarship application which will be posted here beginning February 14.  The Tom Murphy Memorial Scholarship also requires students to submit an answer to this supplemental question.  Both are due in the HHS student services office on March 15.
Technical Excellence Scholarship (TES):  If you plan to attend a Wisconsin technical college in the fall, you may be eligible for the TES scholarship.  To be considered, complete both of the following forms and return to Mrs. DeZeeuw by February 24.
