Horicon Chapter of National Honor Society continues to expand its volunteer services
The Horicon Chapter of National Honor Society continues to expand its volunteer services in the community through the dedication of its members. As of the 2012-2013 school year, a total of 148 service hours have been given by 13 seniors. Their activities include raking lawns in the community, to Cookies & Milk with Santa for the Chamber of Commerce, to the International Education Center located in the new DNR building, and the YMCA in Beaver Dam. There are so many more activities that these students are involved in (sports, band, drama, etc...) that it makes time even more special. Research shows that students involved in volunteer services in high school continue their involvement in the community and other areas of society throughout their life. Please acknowledge the work of the following students: Aaron Bischoff, Morgan Brandenburg, Mary Condon, Kim Fleming, Olivia Gasner, Nick Halsema, Austin Hoefs, Dustin Hoefs, Riley Kruel, Carli Reinecke, Kathy Rettman, Alissa Roggenbauer, and Amber Ziorgen.
