Tap Program:

TAP (Turn Around Program) Guidelines
First Offense:
·       Mandatory TWO sessions with Restorative Justice Program
·       Students will write a letter of apology to the victim
Second Offense:
·       Mandatory TWO sessions with Restorative Justice Program
·       Parents are contacted about the offenses
·       Students will write a second letter of apology to the victim
Third Offense:
·       Mandatory TWO sessions with Restorative Justice Program
·       Two after school detentions in the Office
·       They must write a letter of apology to the victim
FOURTH OFFENSE:
·       Mandatory TWO sessions with Restorative Justice Program
·       Parents will conference with Mr. Olson & student
·       Students will have an in-school suspension to keep the other students safe for that day
·       Students will write a letter of apology to all of their victims, dating back to their first offense, while in their suspension
What will get you in the TAP Program?
1.    Demonstrating un-safe physical activity
2.    Saying something that is hurtful to another student
When does the TAP program take place?
·       3rd – 5th graders will eat lunch, not have recess, from 11:45 to 12:05
·       TAP will be in room 309 from 12:05 – 12:35 with Mrs. Franke
