Cyberbullying, Sexting and Social Networking : Information, Prevention, and Action

The School District of and the Horicon Police Department are pleased to host Justin Patchin, Ph.D., in presentations on youth cyberbullying through the Safe Schools/Healthy Students grant initiative. Presentations to students, school staff, law enforcement and community stakeholders will focus on supervision and responsible use of social networks including Facebook, impacts of bullying behaviors online, and ways to work with youth who are both authors and victims of cyberbullying.

Exploring Wisconsin

Again this summer we will be offering the Exploring Wisconsin field trip program.  Take advantage of allowing your child to go to places that are too costly as a family or something you would be unable to do.  Registration starts on Thursday, April 26, 2012, and goes to June 1, 2012.  Please be aware that the sooner you get your registration forms in, the greater the chance your child will be able to go.

Summer School Registration

Summer school registration has begun for Horicon School District residents with a wide variety of classes being offered (click here to access the summer school book) .  If you haven't registered your children yet, remember that some classes are limited to a certain number of students and filling up quickly.  Also, students wishing to receive a summer school t-shirt must have their registration form in by May 11th.

Summer school begins on June 11th and ends on June 28th.
