2013 Summer School Exploring Wisconsin Trips

We are excited to again offer an exciting component to our summer school program.  Click here to access the Exploring Wisconsin Trips Book to read the description of the various trips offered.  Slots will be filled on a first come/first served basis and close when the limit is reached.  Registration will conclude on June 6, 2013.

We are looking forward to this opportunity for our students and we hope you will take advantage of them.

Horicon School District Breaks Ground for High School Addition

Groundbreaking ceremonies took place at the Horicon High School for the 7th and 8th grade classroom addition.   Present for the event were from left to right ; Joe Schmidt (CG Schmidt), Gary Berger (Superintendent), Patricia Ninmann (Board President), Eric Krause-Emerick (Board Member), Craig Muenchow (Board Clerk), Teresa Graven (HS Principal), Jerry Tribbey (Board Member), Aaron Olson (Elem/MS Principal), Morgan Brandenburg (Class of 2013), Amanda Prothero (Class of 2015), Nick Kent (Plunkett Raysich Architects) and Rick Schmidt (CG Schmidt).

School Year Extended By One Day

Due to the larger than normal number of snow days this year, we will need to extend the school year by one day in order to meet requirements of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.  Our last day of school will now be Thursday, June 6th.  This will be an early release day.

Summer School Registration

Summer school registration has begun for Horicon School District residents with a wide variety of classes being offered (click here to access the summer school program book) .  If you haven't registered your children yet, remember that some classes are limited to a certain number of students and filling up quickly.  Also, students wishing to receive a summer school t-shirt must have their registration form in by May 10th.

Summer school begins on June 10th and ends on June 27th.
