Fuel the Brain is a nice site for educational resources and math games.  This site covers different aspects of math such as: counting, operations, geometry, etc.  Resources can be searched by grade level and their are even interactives that students can play.

 

Homeschool Math has several worksheet generators that can create a variety of free printable worksheets for you. These worksheets can be printed out for use in the classroom, home, tutoring center—anywhere you might be teaching.

You can customize the worksheets with many varied options, so can make them easy or difficult according to the student's level, with lots or less problems, with big or small fonts, etc. Each time you get a different worksheet since they are generated randomly.

Hooda Math believes in math learning through play. Mr. Edlavitch credits board and card games for his early enjoyment of mathematics. Hooda Math believes free online math games can do the same for students today. Hooda Math can be used in a number of ways. Our online math games can be used for computer lab activities with/without our free math worksheets. Middle and Highschool students can do Math Movie projects with xtranormal.com and submit them to us for publication. A classroom teacher favorite is our free online math tool, Math Timed Tests that emails individual reports back to teachers and students.

The Mathematics Visualization Toolkit is exactly that, a program which lets you visualize mathematics. You can use it to build complex visualizations, or you can use the visualizations which are already included (which are awesome by themselves). You can either use the web start version of the toolkit, or download an offline installer. 

Scratch is an excellent program for learning programming but also mathematics like variables, sequences, Cartesian coordinates, and other useful mathematical concepts. Developed at MIT, it is a free download and includes a strong user community to seek help, and see what else can be done with the program.

Describing itself as an "amusement park of math", this site offers online games, brain benders, flash cards, and a game zone. Parents and teachers will appreciate the printable flash cards. One of the more unique games is Lemonade Stand, where kids get to run their own virtual lemonade stand.

The idea behind the site is to offer mathematics as well as some fun bits, and to combine the two wherever possible.  The main content of the site is aimed at Kinder to Year 12 (PreK-6th). However you will find some more complex stuff.   Hopefully there should be something for everybody.

Netlogo is "a multi-agent programming modelling environment" (According tothe Netlogo website). It comes with hundreds of models for all areas of science and mathematics preprogrammed. It is a free download and will work on any computer which has Java 5 or later installed.

This program let's you explore algebra and geometry, much like it's proprietary cousin, Geometer's Sketchpad. Having used both, I actually prefer Geogebra because I find it to be more flexible and easier to use. It requires Java to run, and can either run in a web browser with no download, or you can install it to your computer using the offline installer.

GeoGebraTube is a community site for teachers who teach with GeoGebra to share and find a wide range free resources. On GeoGebraTube visitors will find user-created tutorials, lessons, and worksheets. Visitors can search for resources by age group, language, and material type. All materials are freely available for noncommercial reuse.
